INTERMIX sells fur from China, where dog pelts are frequently unlabeled and mixed in with others (2,000,000 dogs & cats die annually in China for the fur trade).

I could gush about Lush for hours- they have amazing products, they are very vocally anti-animal testing, and almost all of their products are vegan (a few contain things like honey, but they’re clearly marked). This set is all vegan. My favorite part is the Love Potion massage bar…

It takes up to 30 Raccoon Dogs (more often than not, an item with a “raccoon fur” label means raccoon dog- not to be confused with the North American raccoon) to make ONE fur coat for companies like INTERMIX.
After spending their lives in cramped, unsanitary cages, these sweet babies are anally or vaginally electrocuted (so as not to harm the pelt) to become a garment on a hanger.
