Meet Vixey.
She was rescued as a puppy from a fur farm. If she’d stayed there, like millions of other foxes, she would have been anally or vaginally electrocuted to become part of a fur coat for companies like INTERMIX.
Fur-bearing animals, like foxes, are no different from the dogs & cats we live with and love. If we don’t stop their slaughter, no one will.

Intermix buyers are currently at New York Fashion Week, where I’m told cold-hearted designers are throwing inherently cruel fur-laden garments on any runway that will have them.
We CANNOT allow these buyers to ignore the connection between the items they’re seeing draped over models and the fur-bearing animals being used & abused to create them. Purchasing decisions for the fall/winter 2012 season are being made as we speak. NOW is the time for another huge push.

We’re taking our INTERMIX: Please Stop Selling Fur campaign to the next level by involving some celebrities who are passionate about animals. (We just got a photo submission for one of the world’s most famous supermodels, Janice Dickinson, so we’re off to a great start!)
Here’s where you come in! We need everyone to tweet at our first celebrity target, Lea Michele (star of Glee) and ask her to get involved. She’s vegan, an animal lover, and an anti-fur activist. We desperately need her support.

This baby fox will live her entire life in a cage. When she’s big enough, she will be ripped from her cage with a pole, anally or vaginally electrocuted, and killed to become part of a coat or vest for companies like INTERMIX.
Her body will be discarded and she will be forgotten. Unless we continue to be her voice. INTERMIX has not replied to a single email, call, tweet, or facebook post. More than 27,000 people have voiced their concern through our petition, and they continue to pretend we don’t exist.

INTERMIX sold and promoted a whole lotta fox fur this fall/winter. Whether the foxes were raised on fur farms or trapped in the wild, cruelty is inherent & widespread in this bloody, outdated industry.
If we don’t stop them soon, they’ll begin killing for next season. Time is running out.
